Pat Wertin
- Owner
- Master Plumber
- Castle Rock’s Plumber
When you call Affordable Plumber CO LLC, you get Pat Wertin. He owns the business and answers his own phone. When he gets there, he explains what he finds and gives you a price before he starts.
“If water runs through it. I do it!” #NoCornersCut #PatThePlumber
Four things Pat’s customers keep saying
Read enough of his Google reviews and the same things come up again and again.
He picks up, and he shows up
People are surprised to reach the owner on the first call, and surprised again when he arrives when he said he would.
“This guy shows up when you call, does what he says he will, is friendly fast, and fixes it right!”
Art Spencer, on Google A fair price, stated up front
The word they use is fair, not cheap. They describe a straight quote before the work, and a bill that matched it.
“Pat is great! On time, did what he said he’d do, and stayed spot on with his quote. Very honest and ethical!!”
Ryan Sharp, on Google He explains what he’s doing
Pat walks you through what broke and what to watch for next time, so you leave knowing your house a little better.
“He gave me some mini lessons on taking care of my Colorado home.”
Robin T, on Google Then he’s your plumber
After one visit, a lot of them stop looking. They save his number and call him for the next thing.
“We have finally found our plumber in the Castle Rock area!”
Max Hartner, on Google
What happens when you call
Call or text Pat
Tell him what’s going on. A photo often lets him see the problem before he arrives and bring the right part the first time.
Get a straight price
Before any work starts, you know the price and which parts of the job can wait.
Fixed, explained, cleaned up
Pat shows you what he did and what to keep an eye on, and leaves the space the way he found it.
Worried you’ll be sold more than you need?
“Most of us have gotten to the point, sadly, where these visits have you with that nagging thought in the back of your head that you are being taken advantag of. With Pat, you will see those thoughts go away after his first visit.”
Plenty of people call Pat after a bigger company quoted them a lot of work. This is what they say happened instead.
The part, not the whole faucet
“Instead of replacing the faucet, he found the missing part, picked it up, and installed it—saving us money.”
Kristol Knox, on Google Nothing needed fixing
“Patrick came on time, did thorough inspections and told us we didn’t have any issue and didn’t have to pay any money.”
tingting chen, on Google A call to the town first
“He troubleshot my issue and suggested I contact the city water to replace my water meter before doing any repairs. The city replaced it for free and no more issues.”
Joe Tomko, on Google

Questions before you call
What people ask first. For anything else, call or text Pat.
Water is leaking. What do I do until you get here?
Turn off the water at your main shut-off valve, usually where the water line comes into the house in the basement, crawlspace or garage. If it won't close, or the water is coming from the street, call Castle Rock Water's emergency line at 720-733-6000 (press 1 after hours). Then call or text Pat.
What areas do you work in?
Castle Rock, and only Castle Rock. Pat works in town and nowhere else.
Can I text instead of calling?
Yes. Text Pat what's going on, with your address and a photo if you have one. Customers describe quick replies by text.
Can I get a price before the work starts?
Ask for one when you call or text. Customers describe getting a quote up front: over the phone, from a photo, or after Pat looks at the job in person.
Will Pat try to sell me things I don't need?
Customers say no, and many mention it as the thing that surprised them. When he spots something else, he explains it, gives you the price and lets you decide.
